Longer retreats offer greater value per night as the profound neurochemical changes require time to unfold. The rpicing list reflects different lengths of stay. Your investment corresponds to the natural progression of consciousness-altering compounds your brain produces in extended Darkness:
Days 1-3: Melatonin Phase
Circadian reset and deep sleep restoration. This can be a very dreamy phase. Many people find they sleep a lot in the first couple of nights. Shorter stays can be great for rest, and less conducive to deeper personal work.
Days 4-6: Pinoline Phase
Visionary states and enhanced awareness. The effect of the neurochemistry varies considerably from person to person. Generally people begin to experience some more creative, or visionary states of mind towards the end of this phase.
Days 7-9: 5-MeO-DMT Phase
Often during this phase things get a little more disorienting as the subconscious material surfaced by the Darkness takes form in sensations and enhanced sensory manifestations
Days 10+: N,N-DMT Phase
Generally 10 days is a sensible limit for first timers, although not a limit set by us. From day 10 onwards things begin to get much deeper in the process.
The longer your stay, the deeper the neurochemical and consciousness transformation becomes.
